PacRep's Community Voices program presents the world premiere of The Perfect Woman: An A.I. Love Story. A dinner party turns into a riot when it’s discovered that a guest’s too-perfect girlfriend is an A.I. creation with powers that far exceed her designer’s intentions. Raucously funny and darkly compelling, the play relentlessly drives toward its shocking conclusion while blithely demolishing human beliefs about love, sex, and the meaning of life.

The play will be performed in the Circle Theatre at the Golden Bough Playhouse in Carmel for only six performances. Written by Carl Alasko and directed by Nina Capriola, his sharply crafted production will have you pondering... for an indeterminate future. Featuring Michelle Valentyne and Niki Moon.

PacRep's Community Voices and Aria Women’s Choir proudly present Aria: She Sings! —a one-night concert experience celebrating the power, beauty, and expressive range of women’s voices.  Conducted by Dr. Sean Boulware with Mr. Jon-Mark Hurley as Collaborative Pianist, Aria: She Sings! is designed for the stage: immediate, intimate, and emotionally direct. The Golden Bough’s renewed space creates the perfect setting for choral sound you can feel—where every harmony lands close and every text carries.

Founded in 2012, Aria is an auditioned women’s choir drawing singers from across California’s Central Coast. Aria is known for polished performances, meaningful repertoire, and a mission that celebrates women and the voices of women. “She Sings!” is Aria’s annual spring concert tradition, featuring music that is current, relevant, and moving.

Monterey High in collaboration with MPC Theatre presents Once Upon a Mattress

Music by Mary Rodgers
Lyrics by Marshall Barer
Book by Jay Thompson, Dean Fuller and Marshall Barer

Many moons ago in a far-off place, Queen Aggravain decreed no couples could marry until her son, Prince Dauntless, found a bride. Princesses came from far and wide to win the hand of the prince, but none could pass the impossible tests given to them by the Queen. That is, until the “shy” swamp princess, Winnifred the Woebegone, showed up. Would she be able to pass the Sensitivity Test, marry her prince and help Lady Larken and Sir Harry to the altar? Carried on a wave of wonderful songs, by turns hilarious and raucous, romantic and melodic, this rollicking spin on the classic tale The Princess and the Pea provides some side-splitting shenanigans. For after all, a princess is a delicate thing.
