A Bonafide legend in the California Blues world, KID RAMOS, has played guitar over the past 40 years or so with the likes of The Dave Harman Band with Hollywood Fats, The Red Devils with Lester Butler, and The Fabulous Thunderbirds (stepping in to pick up where Jimmie Vaughan had left off).  After a multi-year hiatus to devote time to his family Kid returned to the scene with a vengeance and renewed inspiration.  Since 1995 he has released four solo albums. In 2014 he was honored with The Orange County Music Awards Lifetime Achievement Award.

One of his most recent collaborations is with fellow guitarist (and singer) JOHNNY MAIN and his band, the 44’s. This unit is also deeply entrenched in the So. Cal Blues crusade having honed their formidable chops in clubs, festivals, and sticky floor bars here in the states and abroad for over 20 years. Johnny’s soulful guitar tone and solos are a thing of beauty and his current band members are among the elite of American Blues-Roots-Rock genres. Kid Ramos was so impressed by them that he produced two albums for them and played guitar on a couple of tracks. He’s now gone on to playing entire live shows with them and all of us here at Waz Productions and Edward Montgomery Fine Art are honored to promote their first-ever live performance in Carmel-by-the-Sea at The Golden Bough Playhouse on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at 7:30 pm.
